Nadezda Borisovna Osinovskaya (Надежда Борисовна Осиновская) was born into a traditional  Jewish family in Kiev. She received her Jewish education in Kiev which included Hebrew and Jewish literature.
Active in assisting Jewish emigrants in 1917-1919 arriving in Harbin from Vladivostok. Her house was open to all immigrants. The traditional autumn festivals were celebrated there.
